Who's a Vegetarian?

Who would not want to be a vegetarian these days? How about just eating more vegetables? How many rainbows have you enjoyed at mealtime recently?

The current issue of Michigan based B.L.A.C. magazine features the growing Detroit movement to support vegetarian living. Hooray!

I along with my fellow nutritionist and long time plant based healers are flipping cartwheels of excitement as it seems more and more people are body and environment conscious. When we (friends like Jesse Brown, Dr. Oliver, Mikial & BJ) started on this journey to wellness some 30+ years ago, we could not have imagined an "International Vegetarian Union". If you need a little more convincing to get started on you way to a meat free lifestyle, you should read "By Any Green Necessary" by Tracye Lynn McQuirter. I especially liked that she shares the Environmental Working Group's 2 pesticide food list; the "Dirty Dozen" and the "Clean 15" (Page 88)  (look for the lists in upcoming blog posting)
