Fresh
pineapple contains protein, fiber, sugars, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium,
sodium, zinc, copper, manganese, selenium, B vitamins, beta carotene, vitamin A, vitamin
E, and vitamin K. There is plenty of vitamin C in pineapple and its juice is a
source of an enzyme called bromelain. Bromelain has some anti-inflammatory
properties and after a meal, drinking fresh pineapple juice may help with
digestion of the protein component of the meal.
Don't forget the water!!!

Dr. Velonda
